Terms of Service
Last Updated: May 19, 2026
01. Service Description
DahTahDoc (the "Platform") is currently an Alpha Preview traceable Spec-to-QA documentation workspace. Users can create, edit, publish versions, compare diffs, link QA documents, manage comments and external resources, and share project documents with team members.
The Platform's core value is helping software teams preserve traceability between requirements, version changes, document context, and QA test cases. DahTahDoc is not a full test management platform, project management system, legal approval tool, or formal acceptance system.
02. User Obligations & Account Security
You must log in using a Google account. You are obliged to protect the security of your login credentials and are responsible for all actions occurring under your account.
When inviting collaborators, assigning project permissions, sharing documents, uploading external resources, or exporting files, you should confirm that you have the right to share the relevant content and that recipients are allowed to access it.
AI API Key Management: The Platform provides AI-assisted writing, QA test case generation, Folder Q&A, Role Review, Spec Change Plan, and Reader Brief features. Users must provide their own API keys for Gemini, OpenAI, or Claude. Keys are transmitted via HTTPS and stored in the Platform's Supabase cloud database behind Row Level Security and account-level access rules. Saved keys are never returned to the browser. Spec-to-QA LLM test case generation, Folder Q&A, Role Review, Spec Change Plan, and Reader Brief all require explicit user action; viewers reading a saved Reader Brief do not trigger AI calls or spend tokens. You must comply with the AI provider's terms and are responsible for provider usage, quotas, and costs.
03. Content Ownership & Responsibility
All content produced by users on the Platform, including text, charts, uploaded PDF/Word files, versions, comments, external resources, custom templates, and QA documents, belongs to the user or the original rights holder. The Platform only provides tools and cloud storage space and does not endorse the accuracy, completeness, or legality of the content.
Uploading or creating any illegal, infringing, or harmful content is strictly prohibited. The platform reserves the right to remove non-compliant content.
04. Service Limitations & Disclaimer
The Platform is currently in Alpha Preview. Features, interface details, workflows, and data structures may change. The Platform aims to provide a stable collaborative environment but does not guarantee that the service will never be interrupted, completely error-free, or suitable for every formal delivery scenario. Users should regularly export important documents as backups.
For AI-generated or AI-assisted content, including AI writing assistance, QA test case generation, spec update summaries, Folder Q&A, Role Review, Spec Change Plan, and Reader Brief, users assume final responsibility for proofreading and judgment. AI output is for reference only and does not represent the Platform's final recommendation, quality guarantee, test coverage claim, pass/fail decision, or professional review conclusion.
